Inspired by the recent passing of Madeleine L'Engle, I re-read her Newbery Award-winning classic A Wrinkle in Time.
For those of you who haven't read this book, it's the story of misfit teenager Meg Murry, who ends up on an unusual journey to find her missing father. Accompanying Meg are her strange youngest (4 year-old) brother Charles Wallace, and friend Calvin O'Keefe. I don't want to give too much away, but the story deals with theoretical physics, spirituality, and love, and is a glorious read.
Do yourself a favor and revisit this cherished book.
